Aqui poderá ficar a saber mais sobre a actividade de anilhagem desenvolvida por este grupo de anilhagem do Norte de Portugal, assim como aprender sobre a anilhagem científica de aves no geral. Actualmente desenvolvemos a nossa actividade de monitorização das populações de avifauna sobretudo no Parque Biológico de Gaia, embora frequentemente sejam realizadas sessões de marcação de aves selvagens noutros locais no Norte de Portugal. A anilhagem no Parque realiza-se no primeiro e terceiro Sábados de cada mês (caso não chova), com sessões abertas a quem quiser participar. Aproveite a sua visita ao Parque Biológico de Gaia para aprender sobre este método de estudo em ornitologia e, caso esteja interessado, pode participar como voluntário nas sessões, podendo até receber formação em anilhagem científica dada por anilhadores credenciados pelo Instituto da Conservação da Natureza e Bio |

Welcome to the Viana do Castelo (GVC) bird ringing group's website!
In this space you can learn more about the bird ringing activity undertaken at Parque Biológico de Gaia (near Porto, Portugal) and other places in the North of Portugal, as well as learn more about scientific bird ringing in general.
Ringing in the park, our primary location, is done at the first and third Saturdays of each month (cancelled if rain is predicted), and the sessions are open for anyone to participate. Take your visit to this park to learn more about this ornithological study technique and, if you're interested, you can participate as a volunteer in our sessions, and even receive training given by ringers with ICNB permits.
